I mean, I’m pretty sure this is people just re bottling stuff to resell… all the caps are different colors. So… I’m sure a legal bottling plant would have everything match.
So, a scam.
FletchTroublemaker
For Pakistan this looks like high grade sterile production, cleaning and bottling enviroment. They even wear security sandals.
I doubt, that this is shipped outside Pakistan.
The_Blip
It’s clearly not an official plant. They could (and probably) do the same thing with literally any other brand of drink. No reason to avoid this brand of drink in particular, just avoid dodgy places that’ll buy this crap to sell to you.
zoa770
I remember people would say not to buy bottled soft drinks in India for this very reason. It’s easier for them to rebottle them than it is for a canned version.
KommandoKazumi
Good thing we use cans in the US. Granted, Ive never heard of or seen this drink anywhere over here in the US… Never seen it in Mexico either.
Huh.

Obviously not an official pepsico plant, it’s a bootleg rebottling operation for resale within the country this is happening in. People trying to make a buck, I respect that.
MustacheMaple
Stupid post. Clearly these are just resused bottles. Id call this reasonable sanitation due to their pretty clear disadvantages.
Just another post mocking the poors

Ive been on this sub for a fairy long time now. Although this isnt up to western standards – all things considered, given the tools they have, these guys seem to be taking some pride in their work and doing all they can to clean the bottles on a mass scale. Compared to the other stuff on this sub, this looks edible to me.

So when I refill my Gatorade bottle at the gym, does that make me a Pepsico employee too?

Will they ever get to the 21st century we are in now?

Nope!

Those don’t appear to be bottles designed for refills (which has much thicker glass like Coke bottles in Mexico)
I’m sure they are fine for one or two refills though to sell at the bootleg bodega

This part of the world should employ the same media censorship that North Korea does. Because every moment filmed and released from this part of the world just angers every other citizen of Earth.

Do they not have any manufacturing equipment in the country? Certainly salvageable used crap from a hundred years ago is cheap if not free. Why is everything done by hand and on the floor?

Aren’t counterfeit sodas a big issue in India? So this most certainly isn’t an operation that Pepsi is involved with.
